Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring an experienced TIG Welder Operator for a hands-on manufacturing role in Indianapolis, IN on the 2nd shift. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and TIG weld production parts to exact specifications.

You’ll inspect welds, document results, participate in tooling trials, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Overtime opportunities are available, making this a stable, skilled manufacturing role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production instructions.
• Experience using measuring tools and performing in-process inspections.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld production parts and components.
• Read blueprints, routing packages, and setup sheets.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and setup requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment.
• Inspect parts throughout the production process.
• Document production results and scrap or rework information.
• Move completed parts to next operation using pallet jack.
• Assist with setup sheet updates and tooling or process trials.
• Participate in corrective actions and continuous improvement.
