Job summary

ProMach is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to set up and weld metal parts per specifications using gas and electric welding equipment. You will read engineering drawings and BOMs, perform MIG and TIG welding, and verify tolerances with precision gauges.

Overtime may be required; lifting up to 50 pounds could be necessary. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years TIG welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, excellent English literacy, and strong math skills.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience as a TIG welder.
• High school degree or GED; apprenticeship preferred.
• Proficient in reading/writing English and basic math.
• May lift parts/equipment up to 50 pounds; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and weld metal parts using gas and electric welding equipment per specs.
• Read engineering prints, bills of material, and manuals to determine requirements.
• Weld in multiple positions, including overhead, with MIG and TIG techniques.
• Inspect parts with precision tools to ensure tolerances; deburr and finish parts.
