Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with TIG/MIG welding and reading drawings.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute TIG-centric repairs and manufacturing for turbine/generator components.
• Deliver superior surfaces with grinding and blending (about 75%) and welding (about 25%).
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble complex parts per specs.
• Use precision measurement tools to verify conformance to drawings.
• Perform media blasting to achieve required finishes.
• Operate forklifts and cranes following safety practices.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and support shop functions.
