Job summary

Madden Bolt Corporation is seeking a Threader in Houston, TX to set up and operate threading equipment to produce threaded steel products on sales orders and drawings. This role emphasizes safe operation, accuracy, and timely production while maintaining quality standards.

The Threader will inspect machines and tooling, verify material specs, perform first-piece checks, document inspections, and help maintain traceability and equipment upkeep in a busy steel manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Complete required new-hire, HSE, and Threader-specific training.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, Routers, drawings, and production instructions.
• Ability to use applicable measuring and inspection equipment.
• Basic understanding of thread dimensions, specifications, and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and safely operate threading machines according to established procedures.
• Verify material heat number, diameter, type, and grade before processing.
• Perform first-piece and required in-process inspections to verify thread dimensions and tolerances.
• Accurately complete Routers, inspection records, SPC documentation, and other production records.
• Maintain material identification and traceability throughout the threading process.
