Servotronics, Inc. is seeking a Test Technician to set up test apparatus and conduct initial tests on production assemblies, following established procedures.

The candidate should have a GED or high school diploma with 1–3 years of related experience or an associate degree in electronics or a related field; reading schematics is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED plus 1–3 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two-year associate degree in electronics or similar field preferred.
• Must be able to read schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Layout and assemble units for production equipment according to designs and specifications; adjust and calibrate systems as needed.
• Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by diagrams; correct malfunctions by adjustments or replacements.
• Perform assembly testing and pre-testing of valves; certify valve assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Perform initial tests or assist in testing operation of completed products and prepare tested assemblies for customers.
• Perform visual inspection of raw materials and products to ensure acceptability.
• Process reworks on assemblies within specified lead times and assist in troubleshooting/testing processes.
• Participate in cross-training on multiple product lines.
• Fill out paperwork associated with assigned tasks and document actions in forms when necessary.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
