Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Prototype Technician to assemble new products and assist in developing configurations and improving manufacturing methods.

The role involves generating parts lists, diagnosing issues, and maintaining test equipment in a daylight, full-time shift. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree in electronics preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written, verbal and technical communication skills.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new products.
• Assist in developing new product configurations and methods; generate part lists, documentation, test instructions and safety procedures.
• Assist in resolving manufacturing problems as requested.
• Troubleshoot products with failures.
• Maintain quality control through testing and verification appliances used during production.
• Identify tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment needed for production.
• Update drawings for easier assemblies.
• Provide technical assistance to personnel as needed.
• Comply with safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
• May work in other manufacturing departments as needed.
