Job summary

OBE is seeking candidates to join our team as part of the testing lab workforce. You will select units for testing, transport them to the lab, prepare specimens, and perform air infiltration and water penetration tests to ensure product quality.

You will analyze test results, communicate with line supervisors, assist with product certification, and coordinate with shipping to avoid delays. The role requires precision, math skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use precision tools (caliper and dial indicator).
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Outlook/Word.

Responsibilities

• Select units for testing.
• Transport units to and from the lab.
• Unwrap and re-wrap the units.
• Specimen preparation.
• Perform air infiltration and water penetration tests.
• Analyze and determine causes for test failure.
• Communicate with Line Supervisors.
• Assist in product certification and buck building.
• Coordinate with the shipping department to prevent delays in shipping to the customer.
• Other duties as assigned.
