Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a metallic materials testing lab performing metallurgical prep and testing.
• Experience with tensile testing is preferred.
• Associates degree in a technical field; bachelor’s preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and condition material samples per test plans and standards.
• Operate tensile testing equipment and record test data.
• Use software to calculate yield strength, UTS, and elongation.
• Maintain chemical hygiene, safety, and quality assurance in the lab.
• Collaborate with metallurgists and technicians to ensure workflow.
