Omega is seeking a Calibration Technician to evaluate temperature accuracy for thermocouples, RTDs, and measurement systems using calibration baths and furnaces. The role involves setting up automated calibration equipment and converting data for entry into databases.

You will perform calibrations on customer-owned sensors, document results per ISO procedures, and assist in maintaining quality and reliability standards while ensuring safety and proper housekeeping.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years QA experience preferred.
• Ability to read equipment manuals to calibrate systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Aufgaben

• Performs temperature conformance testing of thermocouple probes, RTD probes, and temperature systems in accordance with procedures and recognized standards.
• Sets up computer controlled automated temperature calibration systems for high temperature testing in multiple furnaces.
• Converts raw temperature data to Celsius or Fahrenheit and enters calibration data into databases.
• Completes test documentation for mi-cable and bare wire thermocouple testing and distributes to relevant departments.
• Conducts temperature calibrations on customer-owned sensors and completes documentation per ISO procedures.
• Recognizes and troubleshoots abnormal calibration results using trend data and visual inspection.
• Confers with management, engineering, and production on adherence to quality standards.
• Practices good housekeeping and safety procedures per company policies.
