Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of calibration experience (formal metrology training may substitute).
- Strong math and algebra skills.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with precision equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate measurement and test equipment across disciplines.
- Maintain calibration standards and certificates.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on precision equipment.
- Collect, analyze, and document calibration data.
- Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective actions.
- Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
- Adapt calibration techniques for non-standard tasks.
- Train junior technicians on calibration concepts and procedures.
