The role requires 1–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency with total stations, GPS, and data collectors, and the ability to travel to multiple sites. A high school diploma is required, with a degree or certification in surveying preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant surveying experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree/cert preferred.
• Proven experience as surveyor, rod man, or instrument man.
• Proficient with surveying instruments and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise measurements and survey activities using advanced instruments.
• Establish survey control points and reference lines for accuracy.
• Set up and operate surveying equipment for data collection.
• Perform field surveys for topographic and as-built data.
• Prepare survey reports with calculations and analysis.
• Assist in construction staking plans and point layout.
• Ensure compliance with specs, standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality checks and coordinate equipment maintenance.
