Job summary

QualDerm Partners, LLC is seeking an Instrument Sterilization Technician to ensure all surgical instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for patient procedures. You will support the clinical team by maintaining accurate logs, preparing trays, and monitoring sterilization standards.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, and teamwork in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in sterile processing or surgical services preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention principles.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift instrument trays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments per protocol.
• Operate and monitor autoclaves and other sterilization equipment.
• Maintain sterilization logs and documentation.
• Prepare surgical trays for Mohs procedures and dermatologic surgeries.
• Monitor instrument inventory and communicate supply needs.
• Inspect instruments for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Maintain a clean, organized sterilization area and follow safety guidelines.
