Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Cut Off Operator in Blytheville, AR. You will set up and operate high-speed equipment to form or cut steel to exact dimensions, while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, recording data, and assisting with maintenance to minimize downtime. The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English and maintain production logs.
• Basic math including decimals and fractions for measurement checks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Experience with measuring devices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate high-speed equipment to form or cut steel per specifications.
• Observe safety and Lockout/Tagout rules to run equipment safely.
• Inspect materials before, during, and after runs; report quality issues.
• Maintain tooling and report changes for improvement; assist with maintenance tasks.
• Record production data, changeovers, and scrap occurrences; keep area clean.
