Job summary

AstroForge Inc. in Seal Beach, CA is seeking a hands-on Fabricator Technician to build, assemble and test spacecraft hardware. You will work with a fast-moving hardware team, reading drawings and GD&T while fabricating and finishing parts to tight tolerances.

The role requires experience in machining, welding, and sheet metal work, with a focus on aluminum, titanium, composites, and stainless steel. This on-site position offers a startup culture with rapid prototyping support.

Qualifications

• Fabrication, machining or assembly experience.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble spacecraft hardware components.
• Perform precision machining, welding, and metal finishing.
• Interpret drawings and CAD models to produce parts.
• Assist integration of fabricated components into assemblies and test setups.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve manufacturability.
• Inspect parts to ensure tight tolerances and quality.
• Maintain tools, equipment and a safe shop.
• Support rapid prototyping and testing to accelerate development.
