Job summary

Aero-focused startup AstroForge Inc. in Seal Beach, CA seeks a CNC Operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines for high-precision aerospace parts. You'll work with 3-axis or 5-axis equipment and collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to deliver quality components on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machines for aerospace or high-precision components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD/CAM files.
• Basic CAM software familiarity (Mastercam, HyperMILL, Fusion 360).
• Skilled in machining, tooling, and precision measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines (3-axis or 5-axis) to fabricate aerospace components.
• Work from blueprints and CAD/CAM files to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
• Handle materials including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and carbon composites with focus on surface finish and accuracy.
• Select and adjust fixtures, tools, and machining parameters; monitor operations for issues.
