Job summary

Stanley Engineered Fastening LLC is seeking a Sorting Utility Worker for Montpelier, IN. This 2nd shift role includes training on the 1st shift and a starting pay around $16.42 per hour plus a 5% shift differential. You will perform quality checks, boxing, labeling, palletizing and data entry to keep production moving.

Responsibilities include routine machine adjustments, housekeeping, and alerting supervisors when issues arise. OT may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and labels.
• Basic mathematical understanding and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Experience with quality checks and sorting processes.
• Willingness to operate forklift and movable equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality visually and with appropriate gauges.
• Box, label and palletize parts.
• Keep pallets stacked and ready for use.
• Load machines and perform data entry for lot information.
• Clean machines and maintain housekeeping per guidelines.
• Inform supervisor of adjustments or high reject counts.
