Job summary

United Ag and Turf in Abilene, TX seeks a Precision Solutions Specialist to coordinate the company’s precision strategy and support precision products across the dealership network. You will train staff and customers, collaborate with departments, and provide expert guidance on solutions and services.

The role requires technical knowledge of electrical and wireless systems, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and analytical skills. Travel to multiple store locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in an agriculture-related role
• Dealership sales, service, training, or related work preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Proficient knowledge of electrical and wireless communication systems
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customers
• Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization preferred

Provide services, expertise, and training for the sale and support of precision solutions. Promotes and advocates and champions new solutions as they become available in precision technology that become available.

Essential Functions

• Coordinates the execution of United Ag & Turf’s Precision strategy
• Provides support for precision products
• Supports the precision strategy and other aligned technology and applications.
• Works with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products and services.
• Serves as the internal and external technical specialist for all precision products
• Delivers employee and customer training for advanced precision products
• Provides recommendations on precision products and solutions
• Provides solutions-based business consulting services to customers
• Support the dealership efforts with third-party providers (Certified Crop Advisor, Ag Service Provider, etc.) and related businesses
