Job summary

United Ag & Turf in Abilene, TX seeks a Precision Solutions Specialist to coordinate the execution of the precision strategy, provide product support, and deliver training to customers and staff.

You will collaborate with dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products, serve as the technical expert for all precision products, and help drive adoption through demonstrations and consulting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in agriculture-related role.
• Dealership sales, service, training or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical and wireless communication systems.
• Solid organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to stores/customers.
• Associate or Bachelor in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred.

Essential Functions

• Coordinates the execution of United Ag & Turf’s Precision strategy


• Provides support for precision products


• Supports the precision strategy and other aligned technology and applications.


• Works with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products and services.


• Serves as the internal and external technical specialist for all precision products


• Delivers employee and customer training for advanced precision products


• Provides recommendations on precision products and solutions


• Provides solutions-based business consulting services to customers


• Support the dealership efforts with third-party providers (Certified Crop Advisor, Ag Service Provider, etc.) and related businesses
