Job summary

Polara is seeking a Soldering Operator to join its manufacturing team. The role involves assembling components, precision soldering of PCBs, and preparing finished products for shipment. You will work with various soldering equipment and follow IPC standards to ensure quality and reliability.

The position operates on a Monday–Friday schedule with options for early or late shifts, and reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor. High school diploma or GED and soldering experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Prepare and solder all levels of electronic components onto PCBs per specifications.
• Perform SMT and through-hole hand soldering to IPC standards.
• Conduct quality control checks.
• Read and follow assembly instructions from the green book.
• Work with leaded and lead-free solder.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and tools.
• Rework, repair, and modify PCBs and assemblies as needed.
• Meet daily production goals.
