Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions seeks a skilled Manufacturing Assembler in New Castle, DE to join a growing team. You will assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical parts and perform soldering with both through-hole and SMT.

Reading BOMs and drawings, inspecting joints, and documenting test results are core duties. You should have hands-on soldering experience, 1–3 years in manufacturing, and familiarity with regulated environments; IPC-A-610 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Hands-on soldering experience required.
• Through-hole and/or SMT soldering experience.
• Read assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience in electronics, medical device, biotech, life sciences, or another regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• IPC-A-610 knowledge or certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components.
• Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) components.
• Read and follow drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for quality.
• Perform basic functional testing and document results.
• Identify and report quality or material issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
