OSI Systems seeks a Solder Operator for OSI Electronics to hand solder through-hole and surface-mount components, perform rework, and assemble small electronic modules. The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and adherence to customer and internal specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; substitutions allowed.
• 1+ years experience soldering or in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of soldering, PCB assembly, and component identification.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail; magnification if needed.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Hand solder through-hole and surface-mount components under a microscope.
• Perform basic rework, component replacement, and inspect solder joints.
• Execute repetitive tasks for PCB, cable, and sub-assemblies.
• Follow routings, work instructions, BOMs, traveler docs, and requirements.
• Use torque screwdrivers, cutters, tweezers, pliers, and fixtures safely.
• Uphold Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork; report quality issues.
