Teledyne Qioptiq is seeking a Solder-Assembly Technician to support production on a fast-paced assembly floor. The role requires careful manual soldering, cable and wiring work, and adherence to blueprints and quality standards. You will operate soldering equipment, use hand tools, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have several years of soldering/assembly experience, know how to read drawings, and understand basic electronics and ESD handling. U.S.

Formación

• Three years plus of soldering/assembly experience.
• Capable of soldering and desoldering surface mounted and through-hole components.
• Good reading of electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Knowledge of basic electronics and components.
• Understanding of ESD handling requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Performs soldering, builds wire and cable assemblies and other assembly operations.
• Maintains and operates soldering equipment.
• Performs intermediate assembly tasks as required.
• Uses hand tools for simple mechanical fabrication and assembly.
• Inspects finished products for quality assurance.
• Identifies and initiates continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Works from work orders and engineering drawings to assemble electro-mechanical components.
