Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an Electronic Instrument Assembler to join a clean room ISO-9000 production facility. You will assemble subassemblies and optical assemblies, perform basic tests, and ensure parts meet specifications using precision tools and test equipment.

Qualifications include 3-5 years in electro/mechanical assembly, microscopic assembly experience, and IPC-610/J-STD-001 certification preferred. Team environment and ERP proficiency are important for success.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of electro/mechanical assembly and test experience.
• Prior microscopic/ precision assembly experience.
• IPC-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills; ERP system experience; ISO-9001 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble intricate mechanical assemblies and subassemblies with precision tools and fixtures.
• Crimp, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, or similar operations to join components.
• Connect wires and routes between component leads using bonding procedures and equipment.
• Adjust materials to meet electrical or dimensional specs.
• Perform go-no-go testing and inspection with magnification and electronic test equipment.
• Read work orders, drawings, and procedures; input data into ERP systems.
• Assist in transferring new product assemblies from development to production.
