Mercury Systems, Inc. seeks an Intermediate Solder Assembler to perform precision hand soldering and assembly on RF electronic assemblies, including production units and test fixtures.

1st shift in a detail-focused environment with microscope work and fine-pitch component handling. Responsibilities include assembling products, testing fixtures, and operating reflow ovens and rework stations, while ensuring quality and proper documentation.

Formación

• Soldering experience with surface mount technology (components as small as 0201 and lead/pin pitches as small as 0.4mm).
• Meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working under a microscope.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 quality systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform precision hand soldering of surface mount components including 0201 passives, leadless QFNs, and BGAs.
• Assemble products and test fixtures following BOMs.
• Operate reflow ovens, hot plates, hot air rework stations, and soldering irons.
• Inspect solder joints and assemblies under a microscope for quality compliance.
• Identify, document, and communicate assembly issues to engineering and production teams.
• Maintain accurate production records and traveler documentation.
