Job summary

PlayMate Enterprise is seeking an SMT Operator to run and maintain SMT equipment, including paste printers, pick-and-place, and reflow ovens. The role requires IPC standards knowledge and the ability to program and optimize jobs across the full SMT process.

You will perform maintenance and support for related equipment, with the potential to operate non-SMT equipment as needed. A hands-on learner who can work with minimal supervision will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Electronic component assembly is required.
• Experience with Windows computers.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures.
• Solder paste and stencil experience.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Experience with mechanical tooling/fixtures.
• Electronic component recognition.
• Basic electrical testing (DVM, etc.).
• Ability to recommend future automation systems and growth planning.
• Equipment installation experience.
• MS Word and Excel basic usage.
• BOM/parts database software user.
• Strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SMT equipment (paste printer, pick and place, reflow).
• Program SMT jobs and optimize process parameters.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of SMT lines.
• Operate and support equipment beyond SMT when needed.
• Execute full SMT process with minimal supervision.
