Responsibilities

• Assemble tooling setups for the slitting line with spacers, knives, and stripper rings.
• Determine required widths using part numbers and simple instructions.
• Use setup software and PN data to create precise shimless setups.
• Measure with tape, caliper, and micrometer to verify customer specifications.
• Calibrate measurement tools daily and record results.
• Enter widths and parameters into the computer to generate setup information.
• Assess clearance using the provided clearance chart.
• Load and thread a master coil up to the slitter head.
• Band finished material when needed and maintain 5S in work area.
