Job summary

Carpenter Co. in Conover, NC is hiring a Slitter Operator (Operator A) on 1st shift. The role involves operating a slitter to ensure material meets customer specifications and maintaining smooth production flow. Candidates should have at least 2 years of machine operation experience and basic SAP/UKG knowledge is preferred.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm with an hourly rate of $22.02–$22.75. Excellent health insurance, profit-sharing, and tuition reimbursement after 1 year are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and computer skills needed.
• Forklift certification preferred or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate bun railing saw and other cutting equipment per programs.
• Maintain production flow and unload finished material.
• Cross-train to operate other cutting machines.
