Job summary

La Crosse Sign Group in Onalaska, WI is seeking a Receiving and Loading Specialist to efficiently handle incoming raw and project materials and load outgoing signs and installation components. You will verify shipments against orders and maintain organized storage to support fabrication and crews.

The role requires forklift operation, attention to detail, physical lifting up to 50 pounds, basic inventory software use, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience loading and receiving materials, including varying heights/weights.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Proficiency operating forklifts and powered industrial vehicles.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift and move large/heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation.
• Time management to meet schedules with quality.
• Team collaboration and willingness to assist peers.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against PO/packing lists.
• Unload goods from trucks using safety guidelines.
• Inspect materials for damage; report discrepancies.
• Document and record received goods accurately.
• Report shipments to Installation/Operational Leaders.
• Prepare and load products onto trucks for delivery/installation.
• Wrap, load and secure materials to prevent damage.
• Assist crews with loading materials for daily jobs.
• Coordinate loads with Install Crew Leaders.
