Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and direct lift truck drivers in properly positioning steel on storage conveyor.
• Activate conveyor and visually verify stack is properly positioned and transferred to the destacker.
• Activate the destacker and determine if adjustments are necessary.
• Adjust hand wheels to ensure sheets enter forming rolls properly.
• Transfer shells to welding operations.
• Make minor repairs to machinery and assist maintenance with major repairs when needed.
• Observe all departmental safety requirements.
• Maintain quality standards according to specifications.
• Work from written or verbal orders.
• Support Rheem values with internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
