Job summary

Rock Island Auction Company (RIAC) is seeking a full-time Shipping & Warehouse Associate to prepare, pack, and ship thousands of firearms, bladed weapons, and military collectibles after auctions. You will build crates as needed and ensure items are shipped in exact condition. The job emphasizes safety and careful handling of valuable items.

RIAC operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST with starting pay of $17/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a safe manner.
• Strong attention to detail and keen organizational skills.
• Some computer work; must be comfortable using a computer and learning our software program.
• Familiarization with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Post-auction, will spend ~90% of your day shipping items to winning bidders.
• Move inventory to the shipping department.
• Pulling, scanning, processing, and packing for inventory moves to Texas.
• General labor and some warehouse maintenance (painting, cleaning, sweeping, organizing, inventory).
• Other duties as assigned.
