Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Basic computer and scanner skills are required.
• Ability to read and follow inventory lists, work orders, and shipping paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials
• Handle metal parts ranging from small components to larger materials
• Organize, stage, and prepare parts and materials for shipment
• Check parts against inventory lists, work orders, and shipping documents
• Verify quantities and part information for accuracy
• Prepare and package materials for outgoing shipments
• Use computers and scanners to process shipping and receiving transactions
• Enter and verify shipping and receiving information accurately
• Use basic measuring tools and equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
