Job summary

Sussex Wire in Easton, PA is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. You will coordinate, schedule, and complete shipping and receiving activities for inbound raw materials, finished goods, tooling, and supplies.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. This full-time role includes safety, timely documentation, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1 year of manufacturing-related shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Ability to read/write English and follow instructions.
Basic math skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Independent work capability and quick learning.
Experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts; willing to obtain certification.
ERP system experience (Visual or similar) preferred.
UPS/FedEx/DHL online shipping systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of raw materials, finished goods, tooling, and supplies.
Count, pack, label, and complete work order transactions for shipments.
Provide precise counts, including very small parts.
Schedule carrier pickups according to customer purchase orders and shipping instructions.
Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with secondary processors.
Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documentation.
Process shipments using carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
Enter information into the ERP system and verify against packing slips.
Acknowledge receipt of goods against purchase orders.
Receive and issue raw materials to production work orders.
Move materials and finished goods using carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
Report defective materials to Quality and Supply Chain.
Monitor shipping material inventory and submit requisitions.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure equipment is in good condition.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
