Job summary

MW Components, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to verify, pre-pack, document, package per special instructions, and ship springs and other wire-forms. The role schedule is Monday-Friday 5:30AM-2:00PM and requires accurate handling of parts and paperwork.

Responsibilities include matching P.O. and material, moving accepted parts to shipping, and checking order due dates in Syteline. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate with other departments in a professional manner.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Capability of working from verbal instructions.
• Engage in a team environment to resolve issues.
• Ability to work independently on primary responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify and match job/P.O. to material from UPS or carrier and route to quality if needed.
• Bring parts accepted from quality to the shipping area.
• Check order due dates in Syteline to determine lateness or future inventory needs.
• Pre-package parts in appropriate quantities for multiple releases.
• Read jobs for packaging instructions and special requirements before shipping.
• Package parts for any outside process and attach paperwork to purchasing.
• Ensure all documentation accompanies parts from quality or customer service.
• Print pick lists and follow packaging requests or special instructions from customer service.
• Package parts in correct box, label, and move to the proper area.
• Process paperwork correctly and place with parts or in shipping tray.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other tasks as requested.
