Job summary

Classic Wood Specialties NW, LLC is seeking a dependable Shipping Clerk to ensure orders are processed, packed, documented, and shipped on time in a manufacturing setting. You will pull and stage inventory, inspect products, prepare packing lists and bills of lading, maintain shipping records, and communicate with customers and carriers while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous shipping, warehouse, inventory, order processing, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to read shipping documents and verify order information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Processing customer orders and coordinating shipment schedules.
Pulling and staging inventory for shipment.
Inspecting products for quality and order accuracy.
Preparing packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels, and other shipping documentation.
Ensuring outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and documented.
Maintaining accurate shipping records.
Communicating effectively with customers, carriers, production teams, and coworkers.
Supporting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
