Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Use of decimals, fractions and scales.
• Complete in plant Brazer training course (should brazing be required for assigned job).
• On job training.

Responsibilities

• Operate press machine to fabricate sheet metal parts within very close tolerances.
• Inspect parts and report discrepancies.
• Obtain blue prints and verify information from MES.
• Set dials and controls for automatic shears and other tooling.
• Run two machines simultaneously as required and record production in MES.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S).
