The Eaton Corporation's Windsor, CT-based ALP Airport Lighting Products division is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder to support precision sheet metal fabrication and welding.

You will fabricate and assemble aluminum and steel components, read blueprints, operate press brakes and mills, and ensure quality through careful inspection and measurement using calipers and tape measures. This role offers steady, skilled craft work in a manufacturing environment in Windsor, CT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience TIG welding aluminum in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate, modify, and assemble sheet metal components using drawings, instructions, and specifications.
• Perform TIG, MIG, and spot-welding on aluminum and steel components.
• Work with material thicknesses ranging from .030 to .250 inches.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment including presses, brakes, shears, and mills.
• Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
• Read blueprints and fabrication drawings and interpret work orders.
• Crosstrain across fabrication processes as needed to support production.
