Oshkosh Corporation, through Pierce Manufacturing, is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator (Machine Operator I) to read blueprints, set up and operate sheet metal fabrication machines, and ensure accurate, safe production. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced shop environment.

The position requires basic tool familiarity, the ability to read drawings, and the willingness to rotate tasks and overtime.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Previous experience with basic hand tools.
• Preferred: prior metal fabrication or Pierce team member experience.

Responsabilités

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machines such as press brakes, lasers, water jets, turrets, rollers, panel benders.
• Read blueprints and apply measurements to parts.
• Set up machines and prepare parts for cutting and forming operations.
• Load/unload materials, read job routings and paperwork, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist co-workers with lifting parts and manage safety equipment.
