Job summary

Davlyn Group is seeking a Production Operator, Sewing to manufacture industrial-grade gaskets by joining, gathering and reinforcing fiberglass textiles with precision on an industrial sewing machine. You will tend the equipment, inspect quality, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production safe and efficient.

The company operates multiple locations including Independence, VA and Spring City, PA, and focuses on technical textiles for PPE and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous production or manufacturing experience, a plus.
• Prior industrial sewing experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine operation and detect defects or malfunctions.
• Load spools, thread ends, and guide materials through the sewing machine.
• Position materials under needles and sew components to specification.
• Inspect components for defects and ensure conformance to standards.
• Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
