Job summary

Driv-Lok, Inc. in Sycamore, IL is seeking an Automatics - Setup Operator to set up, operate and maintain Automatics machines to produce manufactured parts that meet quality requirements.

You will read prints, document data in SPC, perform lubrication, select tooling and troubleshoot machines, while coordinating with supervision, engineering and maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; typically 1–3 years related experience.
• Read and interpret prints and process sheets.
• Ability to document and move materials to the next operation.
• Familiar with SPC data entry and first piece inspection.
• Able to use precision measuring instruments and select proper tooling.
• Must read and understand project prints and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Automatics machines to meet quality requirements.
• Lubricate machines daily and select tooling for jobs.
• Troubleshoot, adjust speeds/feeds, and perform minor repairs.
• Document data in SPC system and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain housekeeping and collaborate with supervision, engineering and maintenance.
