Job summary

PennEngineering® is looking for an Automatic Screw Machine Operator in Winston-Salem. The role involves operating multiple spindle automatic screw machines, performing various machining operations, and adhering to quality control standards.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical abilities, a high school diploma, and is capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand throughout an eight to twelve hour shift.
• Visual acuity to read micrometers and inspect small parts.
• Must be able to lift up to forty lbs, ten times throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned multiple spindle automatic screw machines.
• Checks first part from each spindle produced for quality specifications.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition daily.
