Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Screw Machine Operator for our Plymouth, Michigan facility. You will independently set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot screw machines in a high-volume environment while producing parts to exact standards.

Location is on-site with a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM) and a pay range of $24–$30 per hour plus a 5% shift premium. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Benefits are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating screw machines or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine capabilities.
• Proficiency with precision measurement instruments."

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, operate, and adjust screw machines and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specs to produce parts to exact standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues.
• Perform in-process and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Make tooling changes and changeovers to meet production needs.
• Maintain accurate production records and traceability.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
