Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a P&R Manufacturing Cells Operator on 2nd shift in Syracuse, NY. The role involves setting up and operating conventional, NC/CNC and automatic machines to produce explosion-proof parts across multiple processes.

You will load materials, adjust tooling, monitor tolerances, and contribute to a safe, organized work cell. Qualifications include 6 months of manufacturing and NC/CNC experience plus a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 6 months manufacturing experience.
• 6 months NC/CNC experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional machines and NC/CNC and automatic chucking machines to perform turning, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, threading, forming, facing, milling, slotting, grooving, chamfering, serrating and deburring operations.
• Position parts into chucks and fixtures; select speeds/feeds; start cycles and remove finished parts.
• Adjust, change and reset tooling to maintain specified dimensions; load castings and bar stock for continuous operation.
• Operate weigh count scales, annealing ovens, wash parts, and assemble/label products as required.
• Maintain materials supply to machines; manage housekeeping; assist in TPM and safety compliance.
