Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation seeks an operator for multiple spindle automatic screw machines to perform a range of machining operations, including turning, facing, drilling, and threading, with attention to safety and quality. You will follow detailed drawings, adjust tooling, and work under supervision to ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires standing for long shifts, manual dexterity, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Mechanical ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned multiple spindle automatic screw machines to perform rough and finish turning, facing, boring, drilling, reaming, tapping, threading, forming, and similar operations.
• Set feeds and speeds and follow procedures to produce parts within quality limits per drawings.
• Inspect parts and adjust tools and machines to pass inspection and maintain tolerances.
• Maintain machine area, oils and greases, and replace worn tooling as needed.
• Assist in setup and tool changes and communicate issues to Team Leader or Trainer/Mentor.
