Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI) is seeking a Saw Operator for the Lenox, IA facility. The role handles cutting materials per schedules, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet specifications on the 1st shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders and related data for product specifications, dimensions, tolerances and tooling instructions.
• Cut materials to correct length according to specifications.
• Measure parts and components to verify accuracy to specifications.
• Ensure all parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
• Verify raw material receipts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Work with purchasing on out-of-stock items to expedite delivery.
• Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance.
