Job summary

APP Inc. is seeking a Router Operator in a production setting to inspect forged parts and remove excess metal using a router tool. You will set up tooling, mount parts, and secure them for routing per blueprints and shop orders.

The role demands standing most of the shift, working in hot conditions, and strict safety adherence. Ideal candidates have at least 3 months of related manufacturing experience, basic blueprint knowledge, and ability to read English.

Qualifications

• Wear proper PPE in work area at all times.
• Minimum 3 months related manufacturing/production experience.
• Blueprint knowledge is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forged parts visually and by touch for excess metal or forging flash.
• Set up tooling as required for specified parts.
• Mount parts in fixtures and secure.
• Select cutters and bearings and route to blueprint specs.
• Remove defects with air-powered deburring tools.
• Maintain accurate part counts and quality standards.
