Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc. is seeking Rotor Balancing Technician(s) to perform mechanical operations on turbomachinery components in our Pearland, TX facility. The role offers training for mechanically inclined candidates and a path to develop balancing expertise in rotating assemblies.

Responsibilities include precision balancing, assembling components per prints, and documenting quality data. Candidates must read prints, maintain safety, and work full-time in Pearland with potential

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience with component assembly and dynamic balancing.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment and a commitment to safety excellence.
Assemble components in accordance with procedures, drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Perform precision balancing on components and rotating assemblies to specified requirements.
Use calipers, gauges, micrometers & other measuring tools to determine the condition of components and assemblies.
Assemble various configurations of components to corresponding assembly prints utilizing available tooling, gauging and equipment.
Generate inspection reports as required and assist with documenting quality issues and solutions.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Ability to understand assembly and manufacturing prints.
