Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is seeking Rotor Balancing Technician(s) to perform mechanical operations on turbomachinery components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

The role offers training for the right candidate with mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities include assembling components per procedures, balancing rotating parts to specified requirements, and using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.

Qualifications

• Safety conscious and able to follow procedures.
• Able to work in a team and in a shop environment.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting up to 30 lbs and moving parts.
• Ability to read assembly prints and manufacturing instructions.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety policies.
• Assemble components per procedures, drawings and specs.
• Perform precision balancing on rotating components.
• Use calipers, gauges and micrometers to inspect parts.
• Document quality issues and generate inspection reports.
• Prepare and maintain a clean, organized work area.
