Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc. is seeking a Rotor Balancing Technician to perform precision balancing and assembly on turbomachinery components in Bethlehem, PA.

You will use calipers, gauges, and micrometers, follow prints and procedures, and contribute to safety and quality. Training provided for mechanically inclined candidates.

Qualifications

• Safety conscious with adherence to safety policies.
• Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision balancing on components and rotating assemblies to specified requirements.
• Assemble components per procedures, drawings, work instructions, and specs.
• Generate inspection reports and document quality issues and solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Understand assembly and manufacturing prints.
