Job summary

The Gill Corporation-Maryland is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our production team in Edgewood, MD. You will operate the rewinder, coater line, anodizer line, or printline to meet daily quotas and adjust parameters for process-control compliance.

Typical shifts include 2nd or 3rd, with an hourly wage of $23.00 to $26.00 plus shift differentials. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of manufacturing experience; forklift certification is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of prior experience with industrial/manufacturing processes.
• Forklift certification is desirable.
• English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operates lines and measures, records, and adjusts operating conditions.
• Performs start-up and shutdown on machinery per safety instructions.
• Performs in-process checks and tests on production materials.
• Troubleshoots to correct issues and reports nonconforming conditions.
• Performs changeovers and set-ups.
• Keeps records documenting production processes.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment.
