Job summary

Technicians will make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained, serving customers in Tool Rental across stores and repair centers.

In-store duties include writing contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs, verifying proper tool operation, and demonstrating usage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices.
• Provide tool recommendations and maintain repaired units.
• Serve customers in Tool Rental in stores; write rental contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs.
• Ensure tools operate properly and demonstrate usage when needed.
• Maintain day-to-day operation of the tool rental department equipment.
• In non-store locations, repair, test the quality of repairs, and clean items before returning to the original store.
